Military Car Shipping
PCS orders come with enough moving parts — vehicle transport shouldn't be one of them. We build your shipping timeline backward from your report date, coordinate base-area logistics, and handle the second vehicle, the specialty vehicle, or the move that falls outside the official PCS window. Military discount on all services with valid military ID.

Give us your report date, current duty station area, and destination. We reverse-engineer the transport schedule from your deadline — not from carrier convenience. If you're shipping a second POV that the DoD won't cover, or moving a vehicle outside the official PCS window, the process is the same. We need your dates, and we build from there.
Most installations restrict large carrier access — 75-foot car haulers don't fit through base gates. We coordinate pickup at off-base staging points, vehicle processing areas, or designated lots near your installation. We know the access protocols for major installations and work with carriers experienced in military-area pickups so there's no confusion on transport day.
One coordinator manages your shipment from dispatch through delivery — someone who understands the difference between a DITY move and a government-arranged PCS, doesn't need acronyms explained, and communicates proactively instead of waiting for you to chase updates. Real-time status from pickup to delivery so you can focus on the hundred other things PCS requires.
What to know before you book.
Active duty, reserve, and veteran service members receive a discount on all open and enclosed transport services with valid military ID. The discount applies regardless of whether the shipment is PCS-related, a personal move, or a second-vehicle situation. It's a straightforward rate reduction — not a marketing gimmick that gets clawed back through surcharges elsewhere in the quote.
Military transport isn't about flexibility — it's about a hard deadline. Your report date doesn't move because a carrier had a scheduling conflict. We plan transport timelines with built-in buffer, prioritize carriers with strong on-time records, and offer expedited service for compressed PCS timelines when orders arrive late or dates shift. If your report date is in 10 days, we'll tell you exactly what's realistic and what it costs to make it happen.
The DoD covers one privately owned vehicle for CONUS PCS moves. Everything else — the second car, the motorcycle, the truck that doesn't qualify, or the vehicle you need moved before or after the official PCS window — is on you. We handle these shipments at standard rates minus your military discount, with the same timeline discipline we apply to the primary move.
Military discount applied on top of standard distance-based rates. Cross-country PCS moves (e.g., Fort Liberty to Fort Lewis, ~2,700 miles) typically run $1,000–$1,600 for open transport after discount. Regional moves (e.g., Fort Bragg to Fort Stewart, ~375 miles) run $450–$700. Expedited service for compressed timelines adds approximately $200–$350 for guaranteed carrier assignment within 24–48 hours. Enclosed transport available for specialty or high-value vehicles at standard enclosed rates minus the military discount.
Common questions.
Yes. Active duty, reserve, and veteran service members receive a discount on all open and enclosed transport services with valid military ID. The discount applies to every shipment — PCS moves, personal moves, second vehicles, anything. No minimum distance or special conditions. Present your military ID or provide your DoD ID number at booking.
Large car carriers cannot enter most installation gates — they're too long for the turning radius and don't clear security screening. We arrange pickup at a designated off-base location near your installation or at the base's vehicle processing area if one exists and allows commercial carrier access. We'll confirm the exact logistics before booking so there's no confusion on pickup day.
Ideally 2–3 weeks before your preferred pickup date. That gives us time to secure a carrier with a strong on-time record running your corridor. For compressed timelines — orders came in late, dates shifted, you're reporting in 10 days — expedited service guarantees carrier assignment within 24–48 hours. The earlier you book, the more control you have over timing and cost.
We provide all documentation needed for TMO reimbursement processing — itemized quotes, paid invoices, Bill of Lading, and proof of delivery. The booking and transport coordination is handled directly with you, not routed through TMO. If your installation's TMO requires specific documentation formats, let us know at booking and we'll ensure the paperwork matches their requirements.
